How I Can Help
Everyone experiences difficult times, and sometimes having someone to talk to can make all the difference.
I'm Tracy, a qualified and experienced counsellor based in Weston-super-Mare. I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where children, teenagers and adults can explore their thoughts and feelings, work through challenges and find a way forward at their own pace.

A little more about me
Hello, I'm Tracy. I live and work in Weston-super-Mare, where I have a welcoming and private counselling space in a garden office. On-street parking is available nearby, and the location is accessible by local bus routes.
I have many years of experience supporting children, teenagers and adults through a wide range of emotional difficulties and life challenges. I have worked in local secondary schools in mental health roles, drawing on my experience as a school counsellor.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Counselling, with a focus on person-centred techniques, and a Level 2 qualification in the Therapeutic Use of Person Centred Creative Arts (APCCA).
I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP Accredited) and work in accordance with its ethical framework and professional guidelines.
My practice is fully insured, and I hold an enhanced DBS check.
I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood and accepted. My aim is to provide a supportive relationship where you can explore what's happening in your life, better understand your emotions and begin to find greater confidence and peace of mind.
Support at your pace.
Counselling that works for you
My approach is rooted in person-centred counselling, which means placing you, your experiences and your individual needs at the heart of our work together.
I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to listen, understand and support you as you explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences.
I also work in an integrative and creative way, drawing on different counselling approaches and techniques where appropriate. These can include elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), mindfulness, art and therapeutic writing.
Creative approaches can be particularly helpful when feelings are difficult to put into words. They offer another way to explore emotions, build understanding and express experiences.
I offer counselling face to face, by telephone and online, allowing us to find an approach that suits your circumstances. Walking therapy may also be an option to discuss.
Whatever brings you to counselling, we will work together at a pace that feels comfortable for you, in a confidential and non-judgemental environment.
Whatever you're facing,
you deserve to be heard.

Taking the first step
can feel easier.
Taking the first step
Starting counselling can feel like a big decision, particularly if you haven't spoken to a counsellor before. My aim is to make the process as comfortable and straightforward as possible.
An initial conversation
I offer a free introductory assessment, which can be arranged by telephone or in person. This gives us an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to counselling, what you're hoping to gain and whether working together feels right for you.
Your counselling sessions
Sessions last approximately 50 minutes. I offer face-to-face appointments in Weston-super-Mare, as well as telephone and online counselling.
Our sessions provide time and space for you to talk openly, explore your feelings and reflect on the things that matter to you. There is no expectation to share everything immediately — we can work at a pace that feels right.
A personal approach
No two people are the same, and counselling doesn't need to follow a fixed formula. Depending on your needs and preferences, we may use conversation, creative activities, therapeutic writing or other counselling techniques.
Moving forward together
Counselling is an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of yourself, explore difficult experiences and discover ways to manage your emotions and move forward with greater confidence.
If you would like to find out more or arrange an initial conversation, please get in touch. I'd be happy to hear from you.
You don't have to work through everything alone.
